I come from South Korea, and MODU was created from a personal journey between Korea and Denmark.

MODU means “everyone” in Korean, and the name reflects our fundamental idea: that skincare is not about perfection, but about being a natural and meaningful part of everyday life.
At MODU, we believe that good skincare should feel accessible and relevant to everyone – regardless of skin type, age, or stage of life.
I was born and raised in Korea, where skincare has never been reserved for special occasions, but rather an integral part of daily routines. An early curiosity for creating cosmetics led me to study chemistry, where I gained a fundamental understanding of chemical principles and how substances work and react. This background gave me a more sober and calm perspective on products – not based on promises or trends, but on their fundamental composition.
